Hong Kong Legco passes national anthem bill after lawmakers disrupted proceedings

Hong Kong Legislative Council passed the national anthem bill on June 4, 2020, after lawmakers disrupted proceedings by releasing a foul-smelling liquid in the chamber.
Earlier in the afternoon, Pan-democrats Eddie Chu Hoi-dick and Raymond Chan Chi-chuen rushed out from their seats, and Chu emptied a bottle of brown liquid, forcing a suspension of the debate.
