David Eustace and Dylan Browne McMonagle will combine at Sha Tin on Sunday with two solid chances in the form of Riding Together in the Class Three Carpenter Handicap (1,400m) and Helene Supafeeling in the Class Three Kowloon City Handicap (1,200m).
Last-start winner Riding Together will maintain the services of McMonagle after the Irish rider helped the son of Profitable overcome barrier 13 to beat Super Express by half a length.
Sunday will see him break from barrier nine with top weight of 134lb, but Eustace is confident that the ever-reliable five-year-old can rise to the task.
“He’s extremely tough and very honest – he always runs a good race and as a result, he’s got to improve again as he’s carrying more weight. He’s also giving that weight away to others below him but he seems in great form,” said Eustace.

“He can set good, honest expectations and sustain them. He’s been aided by two great rides this season, and hopefully he can again.”
Irish import Dragon On Snow will have his first start for the stable alongside Riding Together, after recording a win over the mile at Dundalk pre-import.
Helene Supafeeling will look to replicate his local debut when he saluted at the track and distance by half a length over Young Arrow and Circuit Grand Slam. The City Light galloper has since recorded two fourths, and Eustace hopes the removal of a hood can see a more relaxed display from his four-year-old.
“I’m looking forward to running him again. I’ve always thought whatever he does in his first season in Hong Kong, he’ll be really progressive next campaign,” Eustace said.
What a ride; what a win! 👏

“I’ve taken the hood off because he’s been quite aggressive early on, but we’ve done a lot of work to relax him and he’s now relaxed quite nicely with the hood off. I think that might just help him towards the end of the race.
“He’s got a reasonable draw and hopefully there’s enough pace in the race. He doesn’t train like he wants much further, so we’ll stay at 1,200m for now before exploring.”
McMonagle rounds out his rides for Eustace with Definitive in the Class Three Junction Handicap (1,650m), with the War Decree galloper looking for his first win this season.

Happy Boss is another chance for Eustace and will jump from barrier two in the first section of the Class Four Lung Kong Handicap (1,400m), with Luke Ferraris taking the reins once again.
The lightly raced galloper has won one of his three Hong Kong starts and Eustace believes this race should be an easier assignment than his last start where he placed fifth.
“He ran well in a much stronger race than his win last time. He’s drawn better this time and he’s had a nice trial since, so I’m expecting him to run well again,” Eustace said.
Eustace’s team of eight on Sunday is rounded out by Majestic Delight in the Class Five South Wall Handicap (1,200m), Master Phoenix in the first section of the Class Four Nga Tsin Wai Handicap (1,200m) and Grey Charger in the second section of the Class Four Lung Kong Handicap (1,400m).
