TROUBLE IN RUNNING

HAPPY ALLIANCE (K316) jumped awkwardly - Race 570.

GIDDY UP (J020) jumped awkwardly, shifted out and made contact with a runner. Between the 300M and the 150M had difficulty obtaining clear running when being shifted out - Race 547.

CONCORDE STAR (J344) rider stated that his mount was able to obtain a favourable position during the race and after initially responding to his riding in the early stages of the Home Straight commenced to give ground over the final 100M. Post-race vet inspection did not show any significant findings - Race 585.

NEBRASKAN (J304) bumped at the start - Race 506.

THOUSAND CUPS (J482) bumped shortly after the start - Race 585.

HAPPY BOYS (J545) from a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages. Held up for clear running between the 400M and the 300M. Again approaching the 200M was held up for clear running when being shifted out - Race 444.

TURF PHOENIX (J294) jumped awkwardly and made contact with the left side of its starting gate, then shifted out and made heavy contact with a runner. Shifted out near the 450M and was bumped. Bumped near the 300M. Near the 150M, when giving ground, was steadied when crowded - Race 385.

TEAM HAPPY (J218) after passing the winning post was checked - Race 585.

BRILLIANT FIRE (J441) rider reported that after obtaining an on-pace position in the early stages his mount failed to respond to his riding in the Home Straight but could offer no excuse for the horse's disappointing run. Post-race vet inspection did not show any significant findings. Finished tailed out and performance was considered unacceptable. Has since performed to the satisfaction of the Stewards in a barrier trial and passed an official vet exam - Race 515.

TAIHANG SCENERY (J314) from the outside barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages. After the 400M was steadied when held up for clear running. Then was held up until near the 300M when being shifted in to secure clear running - Race 605.

RICH HORSE (J191) raced keenly in the early stages. Near the 1100M shifted out when being steadied and then raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event. Noted to have lost its right hind plate after the race - Race 554.

VIGOR ELLEEGANT (J375) as the start was effected stood flat-footed and was very slow to begin. Barrier manners were considered unacceptable. Has since performed to the satisfaction of the Stewards in a barrier trial. In the early and middle stages raced keenly and near the 900M was steadied and shifted out - Race 550.
