Favourite Yoda's Choice nset moderate fractions in front from gate seven, turned for home three lengths on top and never looked back for an easy maiden win at his 19th start. Yeaboi ran on nicely from last for second after making his run at the rear from an outside draw. He has been holding his form very well through the season. Meepmeep made good ground for third after a rails run from midfield. He's given a good sight to fill the frame in his past two starts with a switch to the all-weather surface. Tradition got going late for fourth after making his run three from the rear. It was another honest effort after getting up for fourth last Wednesday over the Valley 1,650m. Joyful Champion kept plugging away to hold fifth after easing back to settle one-out, one-back 600m out. He has been a good money spinner for connections without winning in 10 outings this term. Chater Gold produced only a grinding effort following a one-off trip from behind midfield. He's in the right grade now but he appears to be better suited on turf. Super Treasure had his chance after a prominent run on the fence. He's limited.

Race One : (534) - SWAN HANDICAP - Class 5 - 1800Meters

Horse No 1 CHATER GOLD (J004) H Bowman A veterinary inspection immediately following the race which included an endoscopic examination showed a substantial amount of blood in the horse's trachea.

Before being allowed to race again, CHATER GOLD will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.

Horse No 2 MEEPMEEP (H234) A Atzeni Jumped only fairly.

Leaving the 400 Metres made contact with JOYFUL CHAMPION when it was shifted to the outside of HARRY'S HERO to obtain clear running.

Was then held up for clear running between the 350 Metres and the 200 Metres.

Horse No 4 YODA'S CHOICE (J146) L Ferraris Sent for sampling post-race.

Horse No 5 SMART BEAUTY (G477) Y L Chung In the middle stages raced keenly.

For some distance near the 1200 Metres was steadied away from HARRY'S HERO.

Lay in under pressure in the Home Straight and leaving the 250 Metres raced in restricted room to the inside of CHATER GOLD.

Horse No 6 SMART ZIPANG (J165) D McDonogh Near the 1600 Metres became unbalanced when momentarily racing tight to the inside of MEEPMEEP.

Horse No 7 COLOURFUL BARON (G301) K Teetan After the event, K Teetan reported that his mount was obliged to race very wide and without cover for the majority of the race and as a result was left without a finishing effort in the Home Straight.

A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

The performance of COLOURFUL BARON, which finished tailed out, was considered unacceptable.

Before being allowed to race again, COLOURFUL BARON will be required to perform to the satisfaction of the Stewards in a barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination.

Horse No 10 ON THE LASH (J182) J Orman Jumped awkwardly and lost ground.

From a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.

Over the final 100 Metres could not be ridden out when positioned behind SUPER TREASURE which was giving ground.

Horse No 11 HARRY'S HERO (H332) B Thompson Raced wide and without cover until near the 800 Metres.

Horse No 12 YEABOI (G372) M F Poon Shortly after the start was crowded by SMART BEAUTY which shifted out.

From a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.

Sent for sampling post-race.

Horse No 13 TURTLE AGAIN (H083) K C Leung Jumped awkwardly and lost ground.

A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

Horse No 14 JOYFUL CHAMPION (G072) M L Yeung Bumped after the 400 Metres.

After the event, M L Yeung confirmed that from the outside barrier his instructions were to take up a forward position to offset the wide draw.

Trainer C W Chang confirmed the instructions issued.

Horse No YOU'REMYEVERYTHING (E413) M L Yeung YOU'REMYEVERYTHING, Standby Declared Starter, was withdrawn on 25.3.25 by order of the Stewards acting on veterinary advice (lame right fore).

Before being allowed to race again, YOU'REMYEVERYTHING will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
