TROUBLE IN RUNNING

DRAGON AIR FORCE (J279) post-race vet inspection did not show any significant findings - Race 026.

CORLEONE (J426) raced keenly in the middle stages. Near the 500M was steadied. When questioned regarding his riding over the final 200M rider stated that his mount hung in when placed under pressure in the Home Straight. He said near the 100M when a runner shifted out slightly he was unable to avoid that runner's heels and as a result his mount could not be fully tested to the finish of the event when racing in restricted room. Post-race vet inspection did not show any significant findings - Race 653.

RELIABLE PROFIT (G462) prior to declaring weighed-in Trainer viewed the patrol films to ascertain if there were grounds for a protest/objection following the horse being heavily bumped near the 100M. When trainer declined to lodge a protest/objection and the Stewards were satisfied there were not sufficient grounds weighed-in was declared on the numbers semaphored by the Judge. Over the concluding stages could not be ridden out when racing tight - Race 452.

NEZHA (K494) approaching the 350M was steadied. Rider stated that his mount, which was racing for the first time in 52 days, would derive a fitness benefit from the performance. Post-race vet inspection did not show any significant findings - Race 813.

STORMI (K084) near the 1400M after being crossed by a runner then made contact with another runner when contesting a position. Briefly held up on the Home Turn - Race 804.

KEEFY (G306) leaving the 300M was steadied when crowded, and made contact with a runner - Race 045.

KING DANCE (K157) rider reported that when he was concerned there was something amiss with his mount making the Home Turn he commenced to retire the horse from the event. Post-race vet inspection did not show any significant findings. Performance of was considered unacceptable. Has since performed to the satisfaction of the Stewards in a barrier trial and passed an official vet exam which must include additional diagnostic assessments. Additional diagnostic assessments performed on the horse did not show any significant findings - Race 813.

TURIN MASCOT (H165) near the 200M shifted out and made contact with a runner - Race 813.

QUANTUM LEGEND (L268) approaching the 350M was briefly held up for clear running. Between the 250M and the 200M had difficulty obtaining clear runningw - Race 054.
