TROUBLE IN RUNNING

NOTTHESILLYONE (J383) made contact with the left side of the barrier on jumping. Rider was of the view his mount was allotted 134 lbs which he felt contributed to it not finishing the race off. Post-race vet inspection did not show any significant findings - Race 571.

FUN N FUN TOGETHER (J232) shifted in abruptly on jumping before being straightened by its rider - Race 571.

GOOD CHAP (J499) rider stated that his mount was obliged to race wide and without cover for the majority of the event and was also up in weights on its last start win. Post-race vet inspection did not show any significant findings - Race 571.

HAPPY SHOOTER (J427) in the early stages raced keenly. Leaving the 900M was shifted out and as a result made contact with a runner. Lay out making the Home Turn. Post-race vet inspection did not show any significant findings - Race 538.

GOOD LUCK BABE (K016) near the 50M was bumped. When questioned regarding the riding tactics adopted, particularly the middle stages of the race, rider explained that his instructions were to go forward if not lead. He said he was able to do that without putting his mount under too much pressure in the early stages. He added that from the 1200M he was aware that his mount commenced to increase the tempo, however, he was not in a position to restrain his mount any slower as the more he tried to the more his mount resisted his efforts. When it was explained that the sectionals between the 1200M and the 800M were run well inside standard time rider acknowledged that he was aware his mount was going too quickly. He further added that if he tried to go for another hold with his reins the situation would have only worsened given his mount was still very keen. He said as a result of that his mount was under pressure from the 200M. Trainer confirmed the instructions and was of the opinion that the horse was unable to run out the 1650M and would place the horse back to the 1200M at its next race start where it is likely that the horse would settle better in its races. Post-race vet inspection did not show any significant findings - Race 567.

SKY PHOENIX (K404) prior to declaring weighed-in the Stewards gave consideration as to whether the horse had been denied a fair start. After taking evidence from Senior Starter it was established that as the start was effected the horse reared simultaneously, resulting in its rider being dislodged and the horse completing the course riderless. As the incident occurred simultaneously to the start being effected the horse was declared a runner. Has since performed satisfactorily in consecutive barrier trials - Race 507.

SILVER SPURS (J043) jumped only fairly. Rider confirmed that from the outside barrier he was instructed to go forward. He said when unable to cross runners to his inside his mount raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event - Race 629.

CONRAD THE GREAT (K217) on jumping made contact with the left side of the starting gate and then shifted out. Post-race vet inspection did not show any significant findings - Race 620.

FULL OF LAUGHTER (L017) shortly after the start was checked when crowded - Race 598.

STARRY SHOW (L074) bumped shortly after the start. Rider stated that with blinkers being reapplied to the horse in the event the instructions were to go forward and race on pace, similar to the position it held when it barrier trialed at Conghua on 20 April 2026 - Race 648.

INVICTUS DRAGON (K318) bumped near the 900M. Rider stated that his mount jumped only fairly and after settling back in the field found it difficult to make up ground in the Home Straight due to the early and middle stages of the event being run outside of standard time. Post-race vet inspection did not show any significant findings - Race 597.
