TROUBLE IN RUNNING
NOISY BOY (J536) near the 1400M was steadied - Race 808.
JUMBO STEPS (L269) bumped on jumping - Race 824.
SERANGOON (H296) jumped only fairly - Race 860.
FLUORESCENCE (L124) bumped near the 600M - Race 777.
ROMANTIC LAOS (G476) from a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages - Race 014.
ROSEWOOD FLEETFOOT (J524) bumped on jumping. From the 900M commenced a forward move and raced wide and without cover thereafter. Near the 450M shifted in and made contact with a runner - Race 796.
ROMANTIC FANTASY (H168) near the 1900M when caught wide in the early stages was steadied and shifted behind runners to obtain cover - Race 808.
FAMILY FORTUNE (H447) shifted out at the start and made contact with a runner. Near the 850M became unbalanced when momentarily crowded. Briefly held up approaching the 300M - Race 824.
CAN'T GO WONG (H087) bumped shortly after the start. Near the 350M shifted out and made contact with a runner - Race 748.
STAR BROSE (J463) near the 1400M was steadied when racing keenly - Race 808.
SMILING ONE (K336) jumped only fairly. Leaving the 1400M was checked. Finished tailed out and performance was considered unacceptable. Has since performed to the satisfaction of the Stewards in a barrier trial and passed an official vet exam - Race 834.
OCEAN IMPACT (J502) rider reported that his mount obtained a favourable position behind the leader with cover where it travelled well. He said when placed under pressure in the Home Straight his mount responded only fairly to his riding and was disappointing. Post-race vet inspection did not show any significant findings - Race 860. .
