Chinese visitors flock back to Italy since easing of Covid restrictions

More than three million Chinese tourists are expected to flock to Italy in 2023, following the easing of Covid-19 restrictions. Italy is considered the top European destination for Chinese tourists. According to the Italian National Institute of Statistics, 3.5 million Chinese tourists travelled to Italy in 2019 before the pandemic.
