Kurdish community marches in Paris to pay tribute to shooting victims

Several hundred members of France’s Kurdish community took part in a march on December 26, 2022 to pay tribute to the victims of the deadly Paris shootings a few days earlier. On December 23, a 69-year-old gunman opened fire on a Kurdish cultural centre and a hair salon in Paris, killing 3 Kurds and injuring 3 others, prosecutors said. Kurdish representatives described the shooting as a “terrorist attack”.
