US President Joe Biden visited Ford’s Electric Vehicle Center in Dearborn, Michigan, on May 18, 2021. Biden has pushed a US$2.3 trillion infrastructure package to help steer the US toward a promising electric-car future. In Dearborn, he made comparisons between the US and China, saying Americans “need to move fast” as China is leading the race.
