Skyscrapers and landmarks across New York City were bathed in red, white and blue lights to mark the 2020 US Election Day on November 3, 2020. The Kosciuszko Bridge, Yankee Stadium and the Empire State Building were among the sites lit in the colours of the American flag. Traditionally a Democratic stronghold, the city has been projected to have chosen Joe Biden over Republican President Donald Trump, but voting counting is expected to take some time states across the nation.
