The world is just beginning to see the worst impacts of climate change, one of the world’s top climate scientists told the Post on the sidelines of the One Earth Summit on March 25, 2024. Johan Rockstrom, Director of Germany’s Potsdam Institute for Climate Impact Research, urged world leaders to put aside their distrust and geopolitical tensions and move fast to deliver on their decarbonisation commitments and prevent irreversible damage to the planet.
