For centuries, Cambodia’s Kampot province produced one of the world’s most famous spices – Kampot pepper used in popular dishes such as pepper crab. The condiment survived the devastation and instability of the Cambodian civil war in the 1960s and 70s when production was severely affected. But now it is facing a new threat.
