Chinese Mar-a-Lago intruder had hidden camera detector, US prosecutors say

Zhang Yujing, the Chinese woman who bypassed layers of security to enter US President Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago resort, appeared in court for the first time on April 8, 2019.

US prosecutors say that Zhang was carrying a number of devices including a thumb drive containing malware when she was arrested on March 30.

A subsequent search of her hotel room turned up additional electronic devices, including one for detecting secret cameras, as well as thousands of dollars in cash and more thumb drives.

Zhang will be held without bond until at least next week when her hearing resumes.
