A group of mothers has banded together to track radiation levels in Fukushima since the 2011 nuclear accident. Named “Tarachine”, the group said it has recorded a drop in radiation levels in seafood and seawater following the accident 12 years ago. But members are worried that Japan’s plan to release treated waste water into the sea in the summer of 2023 will again bring environmental damage to Fukushima.
