TROUBLE IN RUNNING

SUNDAY'S SERENADE (J231) bumped at the start. Leaving the 250M was steadied and shifted out to continue into clear running - Race 247.

SEA CHARIOT (K358) Rider reported that the instructions from a wide barrier were to endeavour to find cover. He said as a consequence his mount settled further back in the field than its previous race starts so as to comply with the instructions. Post-race vet inspection did not show any significant findings - Race 138.

THE HEIR (H459) from a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages. Held up on the Home Turn. Near the 200M was steadied when racing tight - Race 266.

BEAUTY VIVA (K155) lay out making the Home Turn - Race 221.

RAGING RAPIDS (J228) bumped shortly after the start. From a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages - Race 278.

STAR GLOW (J429) shifted out at the start and lost ground. Raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event - Race 239.

CIRCUIT GOGO (L002) shifted out at the start, was bumped and became unbalanced - Race 241.

GOLDEN DREAM (K329) made contact with the right side of its starting gate and lost ground. For some distance near the 1000M was awkwardly placed - Race 220.

PROUD BOX (K487) on jumping became unbalanced when bumped by a runner. Post-race vet inspection did not show any significant findings - Race 175.

BETTER AND BETTER (K277) jumped awkwardly and shortly after the start shifted in and made contact with a runner - Race 239.

THE ALL ROUNDER (K402) raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event - Race 241.

WINNING DIAMOND (K216) after travelling a short distance was eased when racing tight. From a wide barrier was then shifted across behind runners in the early stages - Race 256.

WIN SPEED (J205) on jumping made contact with the left side of its starting gate and lost ground. Rider stated that whilst he was given the option of riding the horse in a more conservative manner, when it jumped awkwardly, he was obliged to settle in a midfield position. He added in the Home Straight his mount did not run on and had recommended for the reapplication of blinkers for its next race start. Post-race vet inspection did not show any significant findings - Race 239.

SUPER LOVE (K118) blundered on jumping. From the outside barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages. For a short distance near the 100M had difficulty obtaining clear running when improving into a narrow run - Race 278.

FORERUNNER (G465) shifted out on jumping and bumped a runner. From a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages. After the race was examined by the vet who revealed that the horse was displaying an irregular heart rhythm. Has since performed to the satisfaction of the Stewards in a barrier trial and passed an official vet exam - Race 172.
