TROUBLE IN RUNNING

HAROLD WIN (J280) bumped on jumping - Race 811.

RISING PHOENIX (J498) jumped awkwardly, shifted in and made heavy contact with a runner. Approaching the 200M was steadied and shifted out. When being shifted out near the 200M made contact with a runner - Race 683.

BUCEPHALAS (K096) bumped at the start. Rider stated that when he had concern with his mount's action in the Home Straight he eased it down from the event. Post-race vet inspection did not show any significant findings. Finished tailed out and performance was considered unacceptable. Has since performed to the satisfaction of the Stewards in a barrier trial and passed an official vet exam which must include additional diagnostic assessments and additional diagnostic assessments performed on the horse did not reveal any significant findings - Race 702.

LUCKY MAN (J315) near the 250M was steadied. Rider reported that his mount gave ground under pressure in the Home Straight but could offer no explanation for its disappointing performance. After the race was examined by the vet who said an endoscopic exam showed a substantial amount of blood in the horse's trachea and also found the horse to have a continuous epiglottic entrapment. Has since passed an official vet exam - Race 741.

SUPER LOVE (K118) shifted out near the 150M and was bumped. Rider confirmed that from the outside barrier he was instructed to take up a forward position. Trainer confirmed the instructions and said he issued those instructions as he was of the opinion there was not strong pace engaged in the race - Race 788.

MASSIVE REWARD (L331) near the 100M was bumped. Rider stated that in that incident he dropped his whip due to the contact - Race 776.

HAPPY PROMISE (L266) shifted out at the start and was bumped. Rider could offer no explanation for the horse's disappointing performance. Post-race vet inspection did not show any significant findings - Race 790.

DAILY ACCLAIM (L273) jumped only fairly and then was crowded - Race 706.

FORTUNE STAR (K003) made contact with a rail on the way to the Start, was examined by the vet and passed suitable to race. Jumped awkwardly and made heavy contact with a runner. Shortly after was steadied. Near the 1200M improved to the inside of a runner was then steadied when racing tight. Between the 350M and the 150M had difficulty obtaining clear running. Near the 150M after being shifted in then could not be ridden out until near the 50M when held up - Race 790.

ALABAMA SONG (K480) on jumping was bumped. Throughout the early and middle stages raced keenly. Approaching the 800M improved close to a runner and was checked. Post-race vet inspection did not show any significant findings - Race 790.

GOLDEN WIN (L026) between the 350M and the 200M was held up for clear running - Race 715.

GOR GOR (K104) near the 800M got its head up when being steadied. Rider stated that from the inside barrier he was asked to obtain a more forward position than the horse had done so at its previous starts - Race 757.

FIGHTING MACHINE (J015) became unbalanced on jumping when making contact with a runner - Race 680.

EMERGING STAR (K390) shifted in on jumping and made contact with a runner then became unbalanced when being corrected by its rider. Noted to have lost its right front plate after the race - Race 737.
