TROUBLE IN RUNNING

LUCKY WITH YOU (E356) approaching the 100M improved into a narrow run and made contact with a runner - Race 580.

CRIMSON FLASH (K173) jumped only fairly and then was bumped - Race 604.

INVINCIBLE SAGE (H301) shortly after the start was bumped and became unbalanced. Rider reported that his mount initially responded to his riding in the early stages of the Home Straight but over the concluding stages did not run on which he attributed to the horse performing better on a surface with more give in it. Post-race vet inspection did not show any significant findings - Race 504.

PATCH OF STARS (J343) jumped only fairly. Between the 400M and the 300M had some difficulty obtaining clear running when being shifted out. Near the 100M shifted in and then became unbalanced when being corrected by its rider - Race 562.

YOUNG CHAMPION (J195) in the early stages raced ungenerously when being shifted behind runners. Near the 800M was steadied - Race 604.

BULB GENERAL (K218) briefly held up for clear running near the 400M when racing to the inside of a runner - Race 562.

VICTOR THE WINNER (G404) rider stated that the instructions were to obtain an on-pace position with cover. He said when his mount jumped well he elected to go forward and lead to take advantage of the good start - Race 604.

GUSTOSISIMO (J303) rider stated that the instructions were to hold a more forward position. He said despite riding his mount along in the early stages it did not show sufficient pace to do so and as a consequence settled further back than intended. He added in the Home Straight his mount failed to respond to his riding. After the race was examined by the vet who found the horse was displaying an irregular heart rhythm. Has since performed to the satisfaction of the Stewards in a barrier trial and passed an official vet exam - Race 532.

LADY'S CHOICE (H155) near the 450M became unbalanced when crowded. A short distance later raced in restricted room - Race 621.

AKASHVANI (K234) shifted in on jumping and made contact with a runner. Shortly after became unbalanced when bumped. Rider stated that with his mount dropping back in distance from 1400M to 1000M he was obliged to make use of it throughout the event to hold his position. He said as a result his mount finished the race off only fairly in the Home Straight. Post-race vet inspection did not show any significant findings - Race 651.

HOT DELIGHT (K583) shifted in slightly shortly after the start and was bumped - Race 540.

PUBLIC ATTENTION (L035) bumped on jumping. Post-race vet inspection did not show any significant findings - Race 502.

PAKISTAN LEGACY (J363) rider reported that his mount hung out throughout the event and near the 700M was steadied. He added that in the Home Straight his mount did not respond to his riding. Trainer stated that he had been pleased with the horse leading into the race. He said the horse had not previously demonstrated a tendency of hanging out and he attributed that to the fact that it was racing tight throughout the middle stages. He added that the horse is better suited when it is able to dictate in the lead. Post-race vet inspection did not show any significant findings. Performance was considered disappointing as compared to its previous race starts. Has since performed to the satisfaction of the Stewards in a barrier trial and passed an official vet exam - Race 604.

SELF IMPROVEMENT (H337) shifted out at the start and was bumped. Between the 1000M and the 800M was unnecessarily crowded for room and then had to be restrained when losing its rightful running between runners - Race 604.
