TROUBLE IN RUNNING

CIRCUIT GRAND SLAM (K201) jumped only fairly. In the Home Straight lay in, resulting in its rider changing his whip through to his right hand near the 150M - Race 255.

INFINITE RESOLVE (K369) in the Home Straight lay in and proved difficult to ride out. Near the 100M made contact with the running rail - Race 164.

HEAVING (K576) jumped only fairly. In the early stages got its head up when being shifted across behind runners. Between the 400M and the 300M had difficulty obtaining clear running and near the 300M made contact with a runner when being shifted out - Race 225.

ROMANTIC SON (J537) crowded shortly after the start. Approaching the 1000M was eased when being crossed. In the middle stages raced keenly and near the 800M shifted out when being steadied away from a runner - Race 252.

YOUNG ARROW (J401) bumped on jumping - Race 255.

QUARTZ LEGEND (K548) bumped on jumping. Rider reported that he was asked to ride the horse where comfortable. He said when his mount jumped well he was obliged to make use of it in the early stages to cross runners to his inside to avoid racing wide. He said as a consequence his mount did not finish the race off when under pressure in the Home Straight. Post-race vet inspection did not show any significant findings - Race 222.

FLASH CURRENT (J500) on jumping was steadied when crowded - Race 272.

TOURBILLON GOLFER (K320) on jumping was crowded - Race 252.

WOLF COMING (K353) rider reported that the intention was to hold a handy position. He said when his mount commenced well and raced keenly in the early stages he allowed it to stride forward and lead - Race 282.
