PHILIP WOO’S FORMLINE
Prestige Always wasn't beaten far from gate 10 over the Sha Tin 1,200m first up this term before running on nicely from behind midfield for a close third and second in back-to-back Valley 1,200m runs. He must have claims from gate two. Szeryng returned an easy winner up front for a second Sha Tin 1,200m win from five starts before coming away a badly held up fifth to Sky Joy at this level and has since impressively won one of two trials. He's the main danger despite gate 13. New Future Folks had caught the eye with a rallying head third and neck second in a pair of C&D runs from his first three starts this term before getting badly impeded in a defeat last Saturday. Harold Win comes off an out-of-character run and has a tricky draw but had produced a nose second to Kempes over this C&D and third to Gracious Express over 1,400m in two prior starts and has since made all in a trial.
TROUBLE IN RUNNING
NEW FUTURE FOLKS (J418) jumped awkwardly and lost ground. Near the 500M was checked. Near the 400M was then steadied when disappointed for clear running - Race 280.
JUMBO TREASURE (K249) after the event rider reported that his mount was required to do too much work in the early stages to obtain the lead which prevented his mount from finishing the race off. Post-race vet inspection did not show any significant findings - Race 074.
SZERYNG (K317) between the 400M and the 100M was badly held up for clear running. Over the concluding stages was unable to be ridden out to the finish when disappointed for clear running - Race 206.
STORMY GROVE (K478) lay out making the Home Turn - Race 206.
SUPER INFINITY (J320) jumped only fairly. Rider could offer no explanation for his mount's disappointing performance. After the race was examined by the vet who found that horse to have blood in its mouth - Race 102.
GREATER BAE (L033) jumped only fairly and shortly after the start shifted in and was awkwardly placed. Near 200M blundered. When commencing to finish the race off well became held up for clear running leaving the 50M and as a result could not be ridden out to the finish of the event - Race 216.
STARRY SHOW (L074) in the early stages got its head up when being shifted behind runners - Race 240.
GOLDENTRONICMIGHTY (K002) shifted in making the first turn near the 900M and made contact with a runner. After the race was examined by the vet who found that horse to be a "roarer" which had previously been reported - Race 225.
LUCKY XANDER (K407) crowded shortly after the start. Passing the 500M raced tight - Race 233.
FIND MY LOVE (H110) after travelling a short distance made contact with a runner. After being held up for clear running in the early stages of the Home Straight was then steadied when disappointed between two runners. As a result the horse did not obtain clear running until near the 200M - Race 176.
HOLMES A COURT (J511) trainer stated that from a wide barrier he had instructed rider to ride the horse in a forward position, similar to when it barrier trialed well at Sha Tin on 28 November 2025. Post-race vet inspection did not show any significant findings - Race 255.
HEAVING (K576) jumped only fairly. In the early stages got its head up when being shifted across behind runners. Between the 400M and the 300M had difficulty obtaining clear running and near the 300M made contact with a runner when being shifted out - Race 225.
