Racing Incident Report
Race Two : (686) - CHANTILLY HANDICAP - Class 4 - 1200Meters
Horse No 1 BEAUTY GLORY (E459) Y L Chung Raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event.
Horse No 2 CHARMING BABE (J513) J Orman Shifted in at the start and made contact with FORZA LEADER.
After travelling a short distance shifted in and made contact with FORZA LEADER.
Near the 600 Metres became unbalanced when racing in restricted room between FORZA LEADER and HEALTHY HEALTHY which shifted in before being corrected by its rider.
Near the 350 Metres was checked when crowded between FORZA LEADER and HEALTHY HEALTHY which, after racing tight to the inside of KING OBERON (E Brown), then shifted in and away from that runner.
E Brown was reprimanded and advised that he must leave comfortable racing room for runners to his inside.
J Orman stated that after being obliged to check his mount near the 350 Metres it failed to finish the race off thereafter.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race which included an endoscopic examination showed a substantial amount of blood in the horse's trachea.
Before being allowed to race again, CHARMING BABE will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
Horse No 3 HEALTHY HEALTHY (H203) H Bowman For some distance leaving the 1000 Metres raced keenly when being crossed by BEAUTY GLORY.
Shifted in near the 600 Metres and made contact with CHARMING BABE.
Near the 350 Metres raced tight to the inside of KING OBERON and made contact with CHARMING BABE.
Horse No 5 KING OBERON (H407) E Brown On jumping shifted out and away from BEAUTY GLORY and made contact with KING CANNON.
E Brown stated that his instructions were to hold a midfield position.
He said when unable to cross HEALTHY HEALTHY in the middle stages KING OBERON was obliged to race wide and without cover for the majority of the event.
Horse No 6 KING CANNON (K543) R Kingscote Jumped only fairly and shortly after the start became unbalanced when bumped by KING OBERON which shifted out and away from BEAUTY GLORY.
Horse No 7 BLASTED TALENT (L091) J Moreira Jumped only fairly.
Near the 600 Metres was bumped by MARVEL AND GOLD.
J Moreira reported that his mount travelled well during the early and middle stages of the event but finished the race off only fairly when asked for an effort in the omHome Straight.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
Horse No 8 FORERUNNER (G465) A Badel Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 9 MARVEL AND GOLD (K109) C L Chau Jumped only fairly and was then shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
Near the 600 Metres shifted out and made contact with BLASTED TALENT.
Near the 350 Metres was checked to avoid CHARMING BABE.
Horse No 10 FORZA LEADER (L034) K C Leung On jumping became unbalanced when bumped by CHARMING BABE.
After travelling a short distance was eased when crowded between CHARMING BABE and FORERUNNER which lay out.
Horse No 11 AWESOME TREASURE (E435) P N Wong Near the 600 Metres shifted in and made contact with the running rail.
Horse No 12 NEBRASKAN (J304) A Atzeni Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No RELENTLESS PURSUIT (L208) L Ferraris Withdrawn on 12.5.26 by order of the Stewards acting on veterinary advice (lame left fore) and replaced by Standby Declared Starter KING CANNON.
Before being allowed to race again, RELENTLESS PURSUIT will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.

Firming favourite Nebraskan was hustled to lead from gate five and after straightening two lengths on top, he kept on well to easily make it back-to-back wins despite a return to Class Four. He was carrying 13lb less following a win. Forerunner stayed on well for second after a handy run one off the fence. It was another honest performance. World Hero kept on gamely for third after rushing forward to track the leader 1,050m out from gate 12. It was a genuine performance carrying 8lb more after a brace of wins. Forza Leader stayed on much better for fourth after a rails run from midfield. It was his best effort from 10 starts. Beauty Glory kept on one paced for fifth after a prominent run wide without cover from gate nine. He'll be hard to beat from a better draw at this level. Marvel And Gold got going late to earn a minor cheque after making his run second last from gate six. King Oberon was next best after a four wide without cover trip travelling midfield from gate 10. Healthy Healthy just plodded after a wide with cover trip from behind midfield.
