Race Nine : (74) - TUNG LUNG CHAU HANDICAP - Class 3 - 1200Meters
Horse No 1 CHATEAUNEUF (J219) H Bowman H Bowman dropped his whip near the 250 Metres.
Horse No 3 BULB GENERAL (K218) Z Purton Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 4 INFINITE RESOLVE (K369) L Ferraris Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 5 JUMBO TREASURE (K249) K C Leung After the event K C Leung reported that his mount was required to do too much work in the early stages to obtain the lead which prevented JUMBO TREASURE from finishing the race off.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
Horse No 6 LO PAN SPIRIT (J233) R Kingscote After passing the 400 Metres was placed in restricted room when endeavouring to obtain clear running between HEALTHY HEALTHY and INFINITE RESOLVE and was then steadied near the 300 Metres.
Horse No 10 STAR SATYR (K231) Y L Chung From the outside barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
Horse No 12 NEZHA (K494) M F Poon Jumped very awkwardly with its head up and from a wide barrier was then shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
Horse No 8 BEAUTY INFINITY (H377) K Teetan Withdrawn by order of the Stewards acting on veterinary advice after it was found to be displaying an abnormal heart rate during the pre-race examination which required further assessment.
Before being allowed to race again, BEAUTY INFINITY will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
Following further assessment of the abnormal heart rate, the Stewards will consider if any further action is taken against the horse.

Bulb General was given a patient ride fifth last from gate 12 and after hitting the lead 160m out, he was much too good for a third straight win from four starts. He's destined for better things. Infinite Resolve just got up to deny Lucky Eight for second after a one-off trip from midfield. It was a better effort at his second run this term. Well-backed Lucky Eight had his chance but had to settle for third after chasing the leader Jumbo Treasure from gate one. It was another honest effort. Healthy Healthy kept on well for fourth after a prominent run one off without cover from gate 10. He was able to build on an unlucky seventh last month at the Valley. Nezha made up heaps of ground near the inside for fifth after making his run at the rear from gate 11. It was a much better run for his new trainer on his third local start. The Boom Box got going late near the outside for sixth after a patient ride three from the rear. He should come on for the run.
