Race Six : (539) - PEACOCK HANDICAP - Class 4 - 1650Meters
Horse No 1 STORMI (K084) C L Chau Jumped awkwardly.
From a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
Horse No 2 I P O BROS (K193) J Orman Jumped awkwardly.
Raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event.
Horse No 3 PRECISION GOAL (H016) L Ferraris Shifted out shortly after the start and was bumped.
Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 4 CHARMING STEED (E494) E C W Wong Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 5 FOREVER FOLKS (G463) B Thompson Approaching the 300 Metres was taken wider by ALL ARE MINE (Y L Chung) which shifted out before being corrected by its rider.
Y L Chung was advised to exercise more care.
Horse No 6 VIVA CHALEUR (G368) K Teetan From a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
After the event, K Teetan stated that his mount settled back in the field as instructed.
He added he placed VIVA CHALEUR under pressure from the 800 Metres and the horse finished the race off in a one-paced manner.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
Horse No 7 ALL ARE MINE (H293) Y L Chung Jumped only fairly and shortly afterwards was steadied when crowded by FLYING SILVER which shifted out despite the efforts of its rider.
Approaching the 300 Metres shifted out when placed under pressure, resulting in its rider Y L Chung having to stop riding and straighten.
Horse No 8 ESCAPE ROUTE (E273) A Atzeni After the event, A Atzeni stated that his mount settled back in the field as expected.
He said when the pace of the event increased from the 800 Metres his mount came under pressure and did not finish the race off thereafter.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
Horse No 9 QINGYUAN STAR (J350) M F Poon Shortly after the start was bumped by PRECISION GOAL which shifted out.
Horse No 10 FASHION LEGEND (J080) R Kingscote Bumped at the start.
Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 11 CONFRINGO (J322) H Bentley After the event, H Bentley stated that when he was concerned there was something amiss with his mount near the 600 Metres he eased it out of the event.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
The performance of CONFRINGO, which finished tailed out, was considered unacceptable.
Before being allowed to race again, CONFRINGO will be required to perform to the satisfaction of the Stewards in a barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
Horse No 12 SILVER KING (H420) M Chadwick In the early part of the Home Straight hung in when placed under pressure.
Horse No 14 LUCKY GOLD (G112) M L Yeung Shortly after the start bumped with FASHION LEGEND.

Well-backed Fashion Legend settled in the box seat, reeled in Charming Steed to lead 150m and drew clear for a first win at his 18th local start. He was a well-rated runner and did appreciate a switch in surface. Punted late Charming Steed did everything but get the win after tracking the speed to lead 300m out from gate 10. He's as honest as the day is long on this surface. Precision Goal grudgingly gave after dictating the run as expected from gate six. It was another genuine performance on the surface. Silver King made ground late near the inside for fourth after a rails run from behind midfield. It was clearly his best performance from 10 starts across both surfaces this term. Qingyuan Star kept on one-paced after a one-out, one-back run. It wasn't a bad effort at his first go on the surface. All Are Mine ran on late near the outside to just miss fifth prize money after making his run five back on the fence. He might be looking forward to 1,800m on this surface. Forever Folks ran on without threatening down the outside after making his run three from the rear.
