Recap by phillip woo

Great Spirit travelled one off behind midfield and responded nicely to get up 50m out for a second win from 13 starts. He did put the writing on the wall with a close third on his course debut last start. Specked late Gameplayer Elite ran on nicely to grab second after settling third last and three wide from gate 12. It was clearly his best run from nine local runs and third down in Class Four. Motoman found a couple too good after hitting the lead 150m out following a one-off trip from midfield. He has held his form well with placings in his past three of four runs following a win. Iconical stayed on nicely for fourth after some scrimmaging 300m out following a prominent run along the inside. He was able to build on a rallying sixth last start. Yee Cheong Spirit was caught up in traffic late after turning the final bend last from gate 11. He should have finished closer. Exceed The Wish was another hampered late when working home nicely from near last. It was an improved effort. Fashion Legend succumbed late after sharing the lead outside Iron Legion from gate five. He's still trying to find a rating bottom.
