Race Seven : (404) - MUT WAH HANDICAP - Class 3 - 1000Meters
Horse No 1 HEALTHY HEALTHY (H203) C Y Ho Between the 300 Metres and the 200 Metres had difficulty obtaining clear running when improving between RED ELEGANCE and FUN ELITE.
Horse No 2 YOUTHFUL SPIRITS (J082) L Ferraris Shifted in shortly after the start, was bumped on the hindquarters and became unbalanced.
Over the final 100 Metres lay out under pressure.
Horse No 3 ETERNAL FORTUNE (K010) E C W Wong Jumped awkwardly and lost ground.
Passing the 200 Metres Apprentice E C W Wong dropped his whip.
Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 4 RED ELEGANCE (H241) H Bowman Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 5 FUN ELITE (J042) L Hewitson Raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event.
Horse No 6 HEROIC MASTER (G394) Z Purton From the outside barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
After the 600 Metres commence to race keenly and got its head up when being steadied away from VON BAER.

After the event, H Bentley reported that his mount is better suited racing at Sha Tin down the Straight.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
Horse No 11 GRAND NOVA (J323) A Atzeni From a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
Between the 300 Metres and the 200 Metres was shifted to the outside of ETERNAL FORTUNE to obtain clear running.
Horse No 12 SKY CAP (K125) A Badel A Badel was fined a sum of $5,000 for using the whip on his mount when it was out of contention and not responding to his whip use.

After a one-off trip from better than midfield, favourite Red Elegance dashed nicely to take control 20m out for a fourth win from 19 starts. He's racing well. Eternal Fortune ran on nicely with one wider out for second after making his run one-off from behind midfield following a sluggish start. He's honest as the day is long. Heroic Master ran on strongly near the inside to just take third after a patient ride second last from gate 12. He's a winner waiting to happen from a better draw. Youthful Spirits led from gate six and was touched off late for third after skipping clear by three lengths at the 200m. He can break through at any moment. Healthy Healthy ran on late through the middle for fifth after a rails run from behind midfield. It was another honest performance. Grand Nova ran on late near the outside from last to finish next best. It wasn't a bad effort, but he's better suited in Class Four. Fun Elite only plodded after a handy run wide without cover from gate 11. Allgreektome tamely faded after taking the sit in third on the fence from gate one. He's lost his zest for racing.
