Harmony N Blessed kept up a strong gallop after turning the final bend two lengths on top for a seventh career win and second victory from 11 starts this term. Favourite Beauty Infinity ran on well to grab second in the closing stages after settling on the rail in midfield. He's run well to place in both starts in this grade after winning two of five in Class Four. Captain Win found a couple too smart after a prominent run on the fence. He had every chance on this occasion after rallying seconds in two prior Valley 1,200m runs. California Deeply stayed on without threatening the top four with two wider out upon straightening following a handy run from gate 11. He's gone OK in both starts following a step up to 1,200m. Helene Warrior made headway late to finish next best after a patient ride second last from a tricky gate. It was a positive first start in Hong Kong. Pleasing Endeavor weakened after chasing the leader pair along the inside. He's better over the minimum trip at Sha Tin. Fashion Legend just held his ground after settling one off the fence just worse than midfield.

Horse No 1 PLEASANT ENDEAVOR (E114) E C W Wong Bumped on the hindquarters shortly after the start and became unbalanced.

Horse No 2 HARMONY N BLESSED (E061) A Atzeni Making the first turn was taken wider by O'LINER.

When questioned regarding the improved performance as compared to its last start on 20 March 2024, Trainer D A Hayes stated that HARMONY N BLESSED was suited by blinkers being reapplied and may also appreciate the quick back-up from its last race start.

Sent for sampling post-race.

Horse No 3 O'LINER (H264) H Bowman After the race, H Bowman reported that his mount lay out throughout the race and lacked focus when placed under pressure in the Home Straight.

A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

Horse No 5 LUCKY ARCHANGEL (E385) M F Poon Jumped awkwardly, shifted out and made contact with CAPTAIN WIN.

Horse No 7 CALIFORNIA DEEPLY (G451) L Ferraris After the race, L Ferraris reported that his instructions were to hold a forward position.

Horse No 8 HELENE WARRIOR (J207) K C Leung Shortly after the start was steadied and blundered when crowded between SUPERSONIC and JOY COMING which shifted out despite the efforts of its rider.

Horse No 9 KING GLORIOSO (J247) H Bentley From the outside barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.

Approaching the 300 Metres was held up for clear running.

Horse No 10 SUPERSONIC (J192) M Chadwick When questioned, M Chadwick stated that from a wide barrier he was instructed to endeavour to find cover on his mount and as a result in the early stages he shifted SUPERSONIC across behind runners to comply with his instructions.

A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
