Racing Incident Report
Race Two : (139) - GRACE ONE HANDICAP - Class 4 - 1200Meters
Horse No 1 HAPPY FOR ALL (H181) K De Melo Raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event and near the 900 Metres bumped with DEVAS TWELVE.
After the race, K De Melo reported that he had some concern with his mount's action behind.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
Before being allowed to race again, HAPPY FOR ALL will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
Horse No 2 I GIVE (H036) A Atzeni Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 4 DEVAS TWELVE (H435) M Chadwick Slow to begin.
Bumped near the 900 Metres.
Horse No 5 HIGH RISE POWER (H353) K Teetan Became fractious in the barriers after being loaded and as a result delayed the start of the race.
Before being allowed to race again, HIGH RISE POWER will be required to perform satisfactorily in a barrier trial.
Horse No 6 JOYFUL LIFE (H426) K C Leung Jumped only fairly and then was bumped shortly after the start.
Horse No 7 MEEPMEEP (H234) Z Purton Jumped awkwardly.
After the 900 Metres commenced to race keenly and was steadied away from LUCKY QUALITY.
Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 8 BEAUTY DESTINY (H281) Y L Chung After the race, Apprentice Y L Chung stated that his mount raced greenly throughout the event and as a result when placed under pressure in the Home Straight shifted ground and did not finish the race off.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
Horse No 9 LUCKY QUALITY (D050) E C W Wong Bumped near the 150 Metres.
Horse No 10 MASSIVE TALENT (H282) B Avdulla Near the 150 Metres made contact with LUCKY QUALITY when disappointed for clear running between LUCKY QUALITY and AWESOME TREASURE.
Horse No 11 ALWAYS AWESOME (H245) L Ferraris From a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
Horse No 12 DUBLIN STAR (C436) M F Poon Knuckled over on jumping and then was hampered shortly after the start.
Horse No TEXAS MOON (G073) C L Chau Withdrawn on 3.11.23 by order of the Stewards acting on veterinary advice (swollen left hind leg) and replaced by Standby Declared Starter BEAUTY DESTINY.
Before being allowed to race again, TEXAS MOON will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.

I Give kept finding after finding the front 1,000m out carrying 135 pounds from gate 11 to remain perfect in four Sha Tin 1,200m starts this term. He's in a great vein of form and should hold his own up in grade carrying a lighter weight. Firming favourite Meepmeep ran on nicely from midfield to finish a clear cut second. It was a good effort on debut and he'll clearly be winning races. Lucky Quality just got up to edge Awesome Treasure for third after a prominent run on the fence. It was another honest performance. Awesome Treasure came up one paced after chasing the leading pair from gate four. He's always a chance at either track over the 1,200m. Punted late Joyful Life made a mild bid after a handy run one off the fence. It wasn't a bad effort on debut. Massive Talent finished next best after running into traffic issues 100m out after a patient ride third last from gate 10. He's shown some ability in his past two of three starts. Newcomer Devas Twelve made some ground from just worse than midfield. He should come on from the experience.
