Recap by phillip woo
Firming late to jump an odds-on favourite Hava Nageela was too good after hitting the front 250m out following a pace-stalking run for a second straight win on this surface from seven starts in his debut campaign in Hong Kong. He should remain competitive up in grade off a light weight. Erimo stayed on nicely to finish a clear-cut second after a dream run in the box seat. It was a better performance in his first go on the surface. Yes We Can dashed late travelling second last in the field of seven to fill a placing. He's as honest as the day is long on this surface. So We Joy came from last to finish next best. He rarely produces a bad run on this surface but continues to find things hard off a big weight. Punted late Skyey Supreme didn't find much when headed for the lead 250m out. He continues his struggles in Class Three. Secret Vision found nothing when push came to shove after a one-out, one-back run. The switch to the dirt failed to have the desired effect.
