Dynamic Eagle edged clear after surging to the lead rounding the final bend following a pace-stalking run behind long time leader Peach Blossoms for a second win over this course and distance from his past three runs. He's in terrific form but may find it harder if he finds himself in Class Three next time out. Favourite Exaltation ran on well to grab second 50m out following a one-off run behind midfield. He's a winner waiting to happen following seconds in three straight runs. Punted late, Crown Avenue kept on gamely for a placing after a one-out, one-back run. He's proving quite versatile on both surfaces. Magnetism ran on steadily to fill the frame after a one-off run better than midfield. He's not far off a bottom. Plunged late, Good Days ran on late but spotted them too much of a head start travelling third last along the fence. He'll be hard to beat over 1,800m and further down in Class Five. Bullish Glory ran on without menacing following a rail run worse than midfield. The old-timer starting to show a bit more spark in his past two starts.

Racing Incident Report

Race Three: (395) - TAI WO PING HANDICAP - Class 4 - 2200Meters

BULLISH GLORY began only fairly.

GREAT TIMES shifted in at the start and made contact with VICTORIOUS SEEKER.

From wide barriers, PRETTY BAUHINIA, GOOD DAYS and SKY GEM were all shifted across behind runners soon after the start.

GREAT TIMES travelled wide and without cover throughout the early and middle stages, then came under pressure along the Back Straight to maintain its position and consequently weakened noticeably and finished tailed out.

A veterinary inspection of GREAT TIMES immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

The performance of GREAT TIMES was considered unacceptable.

Before being allowed to race again, GREAT TIMES will be required to perform to the satisfaction of the Stewards in a barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination.

Approaching the 400 Metres, BULLISH GLORY was steadied when momentarily crowded for room between HAY RUN which shifted out slightly as it came under pressure and EXALTATION which lay in.

Just prior to straightening, SKY GEM lay in and was awkwardly placed outside the heels of CROWN AVENUE which was being directed to the outside of the heels of DYNAMIC EAGLE to improve.

In the Straight, PEACH BLOSSOMS lay in and raced close to the running rail.

DYNAMIC EAGLE and EXALTATION were sent for sampling.
