British endurance athlete Russ Cook lived up to his online name “hardest geezer” after running the length of Africa in 352 days to raise funds for charity. Cook raised over US$758,000 and inspired people to join him for the final leg of the journey. His run started on April 22, 2023, in Cape Town, South Africa and ended on April 7, 2024, at Ras Injla in Tunisia.
