Bodies have begun washing up in waters off Libya following devastating floods in the northeastern part of the country. More than 5,300 are believed to have been killed in the city of Derna after a storm unleashed massive flooding that wiped out entire towns. Some 10,000 people remain missing and 34,000 have been left homeless. The mayor of Derna warned the death toll in the city could reach 20,000, amid an urgent call for humanitarian aid.
