A Russian missile slammed into a cafe and grocery store in northeastern Ukraine on October 5, 2023. At least 51 people were killed in Hroza village in the Kharkiv region, Ukrainian authorities said, with several reportedly missing. The village residents were holding a gathering to mourn a fallen Ukrainian soldier when the attack happened. The attack is said to be the deadliest in the Kharkiv region since the war started in 2022.
