Dozens of Indian nationals have found themselves stranded on the front lines of the Ukraine war after being recruited to fight for the Russian army. Many have said they were misled into thinking they would be hired for custodial work in the Russian armed forces, but instead saw their passports seized as they were sent off to fight.
