A Ukrainian government agency has released a video allegedly showing dozens of North Korean recruits lining up in a Russian military training base. Ukrainian officials say North Korea has sent 10,000 soldiers to help Russia’s war effort. Moscow and Pyongyang recently stepped up military cooperation and signed a mutual defence treaty in June 2024. The video released on October 19, 2024, has not been independently verified.
