Scotland marked the coronation of King Charles and his wife Queen Camilla with a ceremony on July 5, 2023. The British monarch was presented with the “Honours of Scotland”, Britain’s oldest crown jewels. About 100 anti-monarchy protesters also turned up for the event in Edinburgh, booing and chanting “not my king” as the royal couple arrived.
