King Charles wax statue smeared with cake in climate protest targeting the art world

A wax statue of King Charles at Madame Tussauds in London has become the latest target of widening climate protests aimed at expensive artwork. Activists from British climate group ‘Just Stop Oil’ smeared a cake over the sculpture’s face on October 24, 2022. Climate activists had earlier hurled food items on Van Gogh and Monet paintings.
