Greta Thunberg all smiles as German police carry her away from protest

Greta Thunberg was all smiles as she was detained by German police on January 17, 2023. The 20-year-old climate activist had been protesting against planned expansion of a coal mine near the German village of Lützerath. The village was set to be raised to facilitate the expansion of a nearby coal mine. She was released alongside other activists soon after police checked their identities.
