Sam Clipperton enjoyed plenty of success in Australia, being named champion apprentice in Sydney twice while capturing his first Group One victory with Peeping in the Coolmore Classic. The talented youngster joined the Hong Kong ranks in 2016-17, riding 40 winners in his rookie season, and looks set for a long and successful career in the saddle.
