TROUBLE IN RUNNING

WINNING MACHINE (K239) on jumping became unbalanced when bumped, then shifted out and made heavy contact with a runner. Near the 300M shifted out and made contact with another runner - Race 656.

HAPPY ACTION (K399) from the outside barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages - Race 725.

RATTAN GALAXY (K143) near the 1100M was steadied when racing keenly. Then continued to race keenly in the middle stages. Near the 300M was bumped, shifted in and brushed a runner- Race 596.

CARRYON SMILING (J392) shifted out on jumping and bumped a runner - Race 526.

MAZING GRACE (K166) jumped only fairly - Race 656.

SUPERB GUY (K323) jumped only fairly - Race 676.

DOUBLE BINGO (J309) briefly held up for clear running on the Home Turn - Race 696.

NOBLE FANS (K038) jumped awkwardly, shifted in and made contact with a runner - Race 685.

TOP TO SKY (K339) raced very wide and without cover for the majority of the event - Race 666.

WINDICATOR FAMILY (H419) bumped shortly after the start. Passing the 1500M was steadied. When questioned regarding his riding in the early stages and as to whether there was an opportunity to go forward of a runner to avoid racing wide rider stated that the instructions were to take up a midfield position. He said when his mount jumped well it held a forward position. He added that when positioned to the outside of that runner he was reluctant to allow his mount to stride forward as he was of the opinion that would be in contrast to the instructions that had been issued. He said as a result his mount was obliged to race wide and without cover until near the 800M before giving ground in the Home Straight. Post-race vet inspection did not show any significant findings - Race 685.

MULTIDUTCH (K171) post-race vet inspection did not show any significant findings - Race 516.

SUPREME WINNER (J255) shifted in on jumping and made contact with a runner. Approaching the 200M had some difficulty obtaining clear running when being shifted out - Race 654.

DOUBLE SHOW (G250) near the 1500M was placed in restricted room. Rider stated that his mount did not appreciate the "Good to Firm" track conditions. Post-race vet inspection did not show any significant findings - Race 626.
