TROUBLE IN RUNNING

PRESTIGE SUPERIOR (K383) shortly after the start shifted out and made contact with a runner then raced tight - Race 512.

WIN METHOD (K406) shifted in shortly after the start and was bumped - Race 509.

ABSOLUTE AWAKENED (K039) shortly after the start was badly crowded for room. Near the 900M commenced to race keenly, shifted out and made contact with a runner when being steadied. Post-race vet inspection did not show any significant findings - Race 509.

TO INFINITY (G277) near the 1300M shifted in and made contact with a runner and then shifted out abruptly when being corrected by its rider - Race 508.

NORTHERN BEAST (H233) rider stated that the instructions were to go forward. He said when his mount jumped only fairly and then was crowded shortly after the start he was obliged to shift his mount behind runners in the early stages. He added after settling back in the field his mount failed to respond to his riding when asked to improve in the Home Straight. Trainer confirmed the instructions were to go forward. Post-race vet inspection did not show any significant findings - Race 492.

PRECISION HOPE (L047) jumped only fairly. From a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages - Race 478.

TAKE ACTION (J098) jumped awkwardly and made contact with the right side of the starting gate - Race 492.

YIU CHEUNG VICTORY (J529) bumped on jumping - Race 488.

KOLACHI (J395) was fractious in the Parade Ring and made contact with a rail. Was examined after arriving at the Start and found suitable to race. Bumped on jumping. Rider reported that his mount raced too keenly throughout the early and middle stages and as a result could not finish the race off in the Home Straight. Post-race vet inspection did not show any significant findings - Race 492.

OUR LUCKY GLORY (G292) rider stated although he was asked to ensure that his mount commenced well it was not his intention to lead. He said once his mount jumped well it raced keenly in the early stages and that resulted in him allowing the horse to improve to the front - Race 339.

SUPER GOLDENDRAGON (K458) jumped awkwardly and lost ground. And then a short distance rider was required to reposition his left foot in the stirrup iron. Near the 1500M was steadied. Rider reported that his mount hung in, particularly in the Home Straight and, in his opinion, did not appreciate the "Good to Firm" track conditions. After the race was examined by the vet who said an endoscopic exam showed a substantial amount of mucus in the horse's trachea - Race 437.
