Recap by phillip woo

Good Good drove to the lead 1,350m out and just held on after establishing a fourlength margin at the 300m for an upset win. It was a much-improved performance after finishing last at his first two Sha Tin runs this term but he was rated six points below a win last year. Early favourite Victor Supreme ran on nicely to finish a close second after a one-off trip from behind midfield. It was another honest effort over 1,800m. Sensationally backed Amazing Gaze stayed on for third without threatening the quinella pair after a handy run one off the fence. It was a good effort.
