Recap by phillip woo

Early favourite Sunday's Serenade was given a peach of a ride to come on strongly near the inside travelling second last 1,200m to take control 150m out for a second win from 26 starts. The riding change to Zac Purton worked the oracle after a solid second first up this term. Post-time favourite Decision Link ran on nicely with three wider out to just grab second after a one-off trip from behind midfield. He was fitter third up after returning with back-to-back fifths. Class kept on better for third after a prominent run on the fence. He was able to build on a ground-covering eighth last month at his first run down in Class Four. Sensationally punted Luck Is Back gradually faded after claiming the lead from Lucky Xander 400m out following a pace-prompting run from gate 11. He has produced two good runs in defeat after an opening win at Sha Tin this term. Fortune Star made good ground late near the inside for fifth after making his run two from the rear. He should find his mark shortly in this grade. Punted late Exceed The Limit was doing his best work late down the outside for sixth after making his run at the rear.
