Racing Incident Report
Race Two : (38) - DEEP WATER BAY HANDICAP - Class 4 - 1200Meters
Horse No 1 FIND MY LOVE (H110) M L Yeung From the outside barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
Between the 250 Metres and the 150 Metres was held up for clear running.
Over the final 100 Metres could not be fully ridden out when positioned close to COUNTRY PRIDE.
On pulling up M L Yeung was dislodged.
Jockey Yeung was examined by the Chief Medical Officer and passed fit to fulfil his remaining engagements.
Horse No 2 VIGOR HAPPINESS (L284) M Chadwick A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
Horse No 4 MATZDEN (L133) A Atzeni Bumped on jumping.
A Atzeni stated that his mount came under pressure near the 500 Metres as he endeavoured to improve to the outside of BITS SUPERSTAR.
He added that when COUNTRY PRIDE then improved to his outside his mount did not respond thereafter before giving ground in the Home Straight.
Trainer J Richards stated that the horse had pleased him leading into tonight's race but could offer no explanation for the horse's disappointing run.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
The performance of MATZDEN was considered disappointing as compared to its previous race starts.
Before being allowed to race again, MATZDEN will be required to perform to the satisfaction of the Stewards in a barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
Horse No 6 GOLDEN ELITE (L353) R Kingscote Bumped at the start.
After travelling a short distance was eased when tightened between MATZDEN and BITS SUPERSTAR which shifted out and away from GOOD LUCK BABE.
Horse No 7 SILVER SPURS (J043) E C W Wong E C W Wong stated that his mount failed to respond to his riding when placed under pressure in the Home Straight and raced in a disappointing manner.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
Horse No 8 COUNTRY PRIDE (L325) B Avdulla Raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event.
Horse No 9 GOOD LUCK BABE (K016) Y L Chung Made contact with a rail on entering the track, was examined by the Veterinary Officer at the Start and passed suitable to race.
Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 10 BITS SUPERSTAR (J362) Z Purton Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 11 LEGEND STAR (K271) L Hewitson From a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 12 MAJESTIC DELIGHT (K189) H Bentley Briefly held up on the Home Turn.
Between the 250 Metres and the 200 Metres had difficulty obtaining clear running.

Bits Superstar quickened nicely from midfield through the centre to take control 150m out for a second win from 26 starts. He's now won second up in two of four campaigns. Legend Star dashed late down the outside to snatch second after biding his time second last from gate nine. It was a return to form after failing to menace from the widest draw in his first two starts this term. Punted late Country Pride sustained his bid to just miss second after taking off 450m out following a wide trip towards the rear from gate 10. He's building towards a win with placings once across each track from three starts. Posttime favourite Good Luck Babe just lost a placing by a lip after a one-out, one-back run. He's given a good sight in both runs this term. Majestic Delight just finished out of the top four after a rails run from behind midfield. Tourbillon Golfer gradually faded after working forward three wide to track the leader Looking Bright from gate 11. Find My Love was doing his best work late after making his run at the rear from gate 12. Early favourite Matzden kept running into trouble following a one-off trip behind midfield.
