Recap by phillip woo

Favourite Joyful Joy quickened nicely from second last with one wider out to mow down Master Lucky in the concluding stages to up his record to two wins and an unlucky third from as many starts. He has the tools to head a lot higher. Master Lucky gave a cheeky sight for second after working hard four wide to eventually find the lead from gate 13. It was a brave effort carrying 6lb more following a last start win. Punted late Solid Car stayed on nicely for third after a wide trip without over travelling better than midfield from gate 11. Grand Patch finished well for fourth after getting held up in the straight.
