Horse No 3 PATCH OF STARS (J343) K Teetan Bounded on jumping, resulting in its rider K Teetan becoming unbalanced and PATCH OF STARS being slow to begin.
Near the 900 Metres lay in and made contact with the running rail.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
Horse No 5 LUCKY WITH YOU (E356) M F Poon Jumped only fairly.

Raging favourite Ka Ying Rising obliterated his own track record after comfortably making all from gate one carrying top weight for a 21st straight win. He's in a league of his own. Well-backed Copartner Prance kept on gamely to finish a distant second after chasing the winner from gate five. He's capable of giving a good sight from 1,200m up to 1,600m. Magic Control stayed on well for third after a one-out, one-back run. He put up a big run despite being 36 points out of the handicap. Tomodachi Kokoroe ran on steadily for fourth after making his run at the rear from gate six. He should come on for the run. Old-timer Lucky With You only plodded when asked for more after a box-seat run. He wasn't good enough on his return to Group racing.
