Horse No 1 PUBLIC ATTENTION (L035) K Teetan Bumped on jumping.

Horse No 2 JUMBO TREASURE (K249) K C Leung Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 3 AKASHVANI (K234) B Avdulla From a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
Horse No 6 GOLD PATCH (L099) C Y Ho Approaching the 700 Metres was steadied when crowded between MASTER PAYMENT and LUCY IN THE SKY which shifted out as it made the turn.
C Y Ho stated that after receiving interference approaching the 700 Metres his mount was under pressure before giving ground in the Home Straight but he could offer no explanation for the horse's disappointing performance.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
Horse No 8 SUPER STRONG KID (K180) A Atzeni Jumped awkwardly and lost ground.
Horse No 9 CALA DEI MORI (L428) E C W Wong On jumping blundered, shifted out and made contact with SUGAR GOODSON.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
Horse No 10 THE HEIR (H459) H Bentley From the outside barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
Horse No 11 THOUSAND SPIRIT (K365) L Hewitson Shifted in at the start and made contact with PUBLIC ATTENTION.
Horse No 12 MASTER PAYMENT (L159) Z Purton When questioned regarding the performance Z Purton stated that he was obliged to make use of his mount in the early stages to obtain a forward position.
He said when placed under pressure in the Home Straight MASTER PAYMENT failed to respond and, in his opinion, would derive a fitness benefit from today's performance.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
The performance of MASTER PAYMENT, a last start winner, was considered disappointing.
Before being allowed to race again, MASTER PAYMENT will be required to perform to the satisfaction of the Stewards in a barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination.

Horse No 13 SUGAR GOODSON (L303) Y L Chung Bumped at the start.
The performance of SUGAR GOODSON, which finished tailed out, was considered unacceptable.
Before being allowed to race again, SUGAR GOODSON will be required to perform to the satisfaction of the Stewards in a barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
GENERAL:
1.
Jockey K C Leung was fined the sum of $5,000 for a breach of Rule 155(5) in that he improperly conducted himself during the start of batch 4 of the Conghua barrier trials on 24 August 2026.
2.
After the running of Race 4, the track classification was officially changed from "Good"to "Good to Firm" This change in the opinion of the Stewards should be recorded as being retrospective.
As a consequence of this, the official results will show Races 3 and 4 being run on a track rated "Good to Firm"

Jumbo Treasure sat wide without cover in midfield from gate 12 but took control 60m out for a fifth win and second on the bounce from 15 starts. He goes very well fresh. Public Attention finished nicely for second after a one-off trip from midfield. It was a solid effort carrying top weight following a downgrade. The Heir zipped home late for third after making his run third last from the widest draw. He's holding his form very well. Sensationally backed Lucy In The Sky succumbed late for fourth after dictating the pace from gate one. It was a pleasing effort at his first start in 153 days.
