Recap by phillip woo

Odds-on favourite Leading Agility was well rated in front from gate three and kept finding for a second win from his past three starts. He's a progressive three-year-old who should hold his own up in grade off a light weight. Well fancied late Forerunner ran on nicely near the inside for second after a rails run from midfield. It was another solid effort on his return to the track and trip of a win at his penultimate start. Young Arrow stayed on very well for third after a wide trip without cover travelling better than midfield from gate 12. He should break through for a win next season in this grade. Bright Day made good ground late with one wider out for fourth after making his run fourth last from gate seven. It was a better effort at his second of two runs carrying big weights following a win. Well backed Thunder Prince just held his ground after a box-seat run. He is on his mark following a win in April. Golden Friendship gradually faded after a speed-tracking run from gate nine. Never Too Soon got going late near the inside to finish next best after making his run four from the rear.
