a thrilling finish, the late-fancied Lucky Sam Gor settled behind midfield on the rails and burst through a gap when it finally opened 200m out to just beat Amazing Partners for a fifth win from 13 starts this term. He's had a fabulous campaign. Amazing Partners ran on nicely through the centre to make it a bob of heads after a one-off trip travelling behind midfield. He's done very little wrong in his nine starts. Punted late Hymnbook ran on nicely with two wider out for third after a wide trip with cover travelling behind midfield from gate 10. He was able to build on a closing fifth and sixth in his past two of three starts following a step up to 1,600m.
