Race Eight : (803) - LEIGHTON ROAD HANDICAP - Class 3 - 1200Meters
Horse No 1 SYMBOL OF STRENGTH (K352) B Avdulla Over the concluding stages could not be fully ridden out when racing tight to the inside of HONEST WITNESS.
Horse No 3 JUMBO TREASURE (K249) K C Leung Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 4 AMAZING KID (K434) H Bowman Noted to have bled from both nostrils after the race.
Before being allowed to race again, AMAZING KID will be required to perform satisfactorily in a barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
Horse No 5 DARYL FLASH (L168) C L Chau Was left racing wide and without cover from the 600 Metres.
Horse No 6 KING LOTUS (K186) L Hewitson Jumped only fairly.
Horse No 7 THE HEIR (H459) J Moreira Near the 50 Metres was shifted to the inside of JUMBO TREASURE to obtain clear running and over the concluding stages raced tight to the inside of JUMBO TREASURE which shifted in.
Horse No 8 ENDURANCE EXPRESS (L397) R Kingscote A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
Horse No 9 ACE CHAMPION (K379) C Y Ho Bumped at the start.
Approaching the 100 Metres was steadied when disappointed for clear running between AMAZING KID and SYMBOL OF STRENGTH, both of which shifted ground slightly.
ACE CHAMPION then had difficulty obtaining clear running for the remainder of the event.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
Sent for sampling post-race.

Horse No 11 HONEST WITNESS (K283) Z Purton Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No SUPER JOY N FUN (J164) A Badel Withdrawn on 23.6.26 by order of the Stewards acting on veterinary advice (right front tendon injury) and replaced by Standby Declared Starter DO YOU JUST.
Before being allowed to race again, SUPER JOY N FUN will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.

Jumbo Treasure had a prominent run on the fence and after peeling into the open 250m out, he got up in the late stages for a fourth win and second this term from 14 starts. He's a capable 1,200m performer across both tracks. Honest Witness put up a game performance for second after leading from gate four. He's not easy run down if he finds the fence. The Heir surged late through the centre to dead-heat for third with Young Emperor after a patient ride fourth last from gate 11. It was a good effort in a higher grade after back-to-back wins. Punted late Young Emperor had to share third after a handy run one off the fence from gate two. It was a solid effort on his return to the Valley. Symbol Of Strength ran on steadily for fifth after a rails run from midfield. Specked late Daryl Flash made good ground late after a wide without cover trip travelling midfield. It was an improved effort at his first start over the Valley 1,200m. Endurance Express didn't find much in the stretch drive following a speed-tracking run. The switch to the Valley backfired. Favourite Ace Champion was short of room near the inside late on.
