Recap by phillip woo

Whacked to jump favourite, All Are Mine was shuffled back to near last upon straightening but got the gaps when required to get up 15m out for a second win from 30 starts. He did place in three of nine other runs for his new trainer this term. Oriental Surprise ran on nicely for second after a one-off trip from behind midfield. He continues to be a good money spinner without winning for connections this term. Iron Legion grudgingly gave way after clearing to lead from gate 11. It was a return to form after disappointing four times following a 1,600m win. Smiling Emperor ran on late down the outside for fourth after a wide trip towards the rear. He's produced an odd positive run now and then. Windicator Family gradually faded after a speed-tracking run from gate 12. Power Summit ran on without threatening after making his run four from the rear. Spangle Fortune only plodded after a rails run from behind midfield. Matsu Victor never landed a blow after making his run three from the rear. Early favourite The Way We Win was disappointing after a box-seat run from gate 10.
