Recap by phillip woo

Favourite Come Fast Fay Fay tracked the speed from gate 12 before taking the lead 260m out and proving too smart for back-to-back wins despite carrying 10lb more following a nine-point penalty. He's in the form of his life. Quick Contribution stayed on nicely for second after a wide trip without cover from midfield. It was another good effort after a rallying second last start. Grand Patch ran on well for third after a wide trip from behind midfield. It was an improved effort with a step up to 1,400m at his third start. Silver Up got going late with three wider out for fourth after making his run at the rear from gate 14. He's run well in back-to-back starts for his new trainer.
