Firming favourite Absolute Heart was driven to the lead 1,000m out from gate five and never looked back for a second win from three starts. The three-year-old has the tools to hold his own up in grade off a light weight. Oldtown ran on nicely along the inside for second after a prominent run on the fence. It was a good run carrying 5lb more following a win. Master Phoenix ran on nicely down the outside for third after making his run fourth last from gate eight. He was able to build on a closing fourth last start. Flying Sniper ran on well for fourth with three wider out after making his run one off travelling behind midfield. He's improving with racing.

Race Four : (788) - DIAMOND HANDICAP - Class 4 - 1200Meters

Horse No 1 MAGNEMITE (K549) H T Mo Noted to have blood in the mouth at the Start, was examined by the Veterinary Officer and passed suitable to race.

Bumped on jumping.

Horse No 2 ABSOLUTE HEART (L226) K C Leung Sent for sampling post-race.

Horse No 3 OLDTOWN (K105) Z Purton Sent for sampling post-race.

Horse No 4 AETHELWIND (L162) H Y Yuen Slow to begin.

Near the 900 Metres, when racing greenly, was steadied when positioned close to MASTER PHOENIX.

Horse No 5 HAPPY SPECIAL (K572) A Atzeni Near the 100 Metres was eased to avoid GROOVY FEELING which shifted out under pressure.

Horse No 6 HERO RISING (L294) K Teetan Jumped awkwardly, shifted in and made contact with MAGNEMITE.

Approaching the 900 Metres was steadied to avoid FLYING SNIPER when both runners shifted ground slightly.

A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

Horse No 7 HOT AIR BALLON (K144) B Avdulla B Avdulla reported that the intention was to hold a more forward position but his mount jumped awkwardly and lost ground at the start and as a consequence settled further back than intended.

He added in the circumstances he was satisfied with his mount's finishing effort.

A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

Horse No 9 SUPER LOVE (K118) E Brown Shifted out near the 150 Metres and was bumped.

E Brown confirmed that from the outside barrier he was instructed to take up a forward position.

Trainer C H Yip confirmed the instructions and said he issued those instructions as he was of the opinion there was not strong pace engaged in the race.

Horse No 10 MY TRIUMPH (K558) C Y Ho Raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event.

Horse No 12 CASA PRIMO (L201) R Kingscote Near the 200 Metres lay out and away from SUPER LOVE, resulting in its rider R Kingscote having to straighten his mount.

Near the 150 Metres then became unbalanced when bumped by SUPER LOVE which shifted out under pressure.

Horse No 14 GROOVY FEELING (J515) M L Yeung For some distance near the 100 Metres had difficulty obtaining clear running when being shifted to the outside of CASA PRIMO.
